The prince of Tollywood (Telugu Cinema), Mahesh babu, the younger son of legendary actor and super star Krishna
and Smt. Indira Devi is known for his good looks, charisma, polished acting and dancing skills. The celluloid world
welcomed him as a child artiste with the movie 'Poratam' and he firmly cemented his stardomwith a succession of
movies. But later he decidedto take a break to concentrate in his studies and earned a B.Com degree from Chennai.
He made a comeback debut as a hero with the film 'Rajakumarudu' which was a big hit. 6' 3" tall, very boyish and charming,
Mahesh babu, became the heartthrob of Tollywood with a series of hits to his credit. Mahesh is one star who has a fantastic
opening for his films, all over Andhra and Chennai. . He got married to his longtime sweetheart, actress Namrata Sirodkar on
February 10th 2005 and is settled in Hyderabad.

'Go Goa Gone' directors eye Mahesh Babu for next

Director duo Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru, known for helming films such as "Shor In the City" and "Go Goa Gone", are keen to direct Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. They have already offered him a script.

"Yes, we are interested to work with Mahesh in a straight Telugu film. We have narrated the story to him and we are waiting to hear from him. This is all what I can reveal at the moment. We have to wait for more development on this," Krishna said.

When asked why Mahesh Babu, Krishna said: "Why not Mahesh? He is a great actor and we want to make different kind of commercial film with him for a larger audience".
