Sita Rama Raju (Mahesh Babu) is a cab driver in Hyderabad who runs in to bad luck when ever he meets a girl called Subhashini (Anushka). Once his cab gets completely destroyed and his owner sends him to a village in Rajasthan to recover the money where he again runs into Subashini. Parallel to the story runs the story of a village called Pali where a priest (Rao Ramesh) predicts the entry of a protagonist in to the village who becomes saviour of the village. The rest of the story is about what is the problem of the village and how the hero pacify their problems.
